Horror Punk is a subgenre of punk rock, consist of violent imagery and lyrics, and influenced by horror films and science fiction B-movies.This genre sometimes musically overlaps with death rock,horror punk also tends to leans more towards a 1950s Doo-Wop and Rockabilly sound. The Misfits are often recognized as the progenitors of the horror punk genre, punk rock group The Damned are also considered to be a old school horror punk band.
