The Stooges were an American Rock band, founded in Ann Arbor, Michigan in 1967. The band was best known for playing a raw and noisy form of Rock and Roll and The Stooges were an early prototype of punk rock. The lead singer Iggy Pop was also known for performing bizzare and wild acts on stage and diving into the crowd.
